Strong doesn’t mean doing it alone

Chat with me

I help high-achieving individuals and athletes to quiet their inner critic, set boundaries without guilt, find the balance they’ve been chasing.

My clients are smart, driven, people who, honestly, look like they have it all together. They’ve worked hard, checked all the boxes, and built the career or family they wanted. They’re athletes, adults, parents, and professionals who are used to being the ones who get it done. From the outside, they’re successful. They’re capable. They’re handling it.

But inside? They’re exhausted. And life feels a lot harder than it looks.

When they come to me, anxiety is usually running the show. Their minds don’t shut off. They’re lying in bed replaying the day, worrying about tomorrow, second-guessing decisions, and wondering if they missed something.

And when they make a mistake—which, by the way, we all do—they are brutal with themselves. Everyone else sees the person who handles everything with ease. I see the person who is working incredibly hard just to feel like she’s keeping it together.

And that’s where we start.

You’re the reliable one.

At work. At home. In your relationships. You’re the person everyone calls when something goes wrong because they know you’ll figure it out. But what most people don’t see is how much you’re carrying. You don’t really talk about how overwhelmed you are because you’re afraid people will see you differently or you don’t want to let anyone down. You’re supposed to have it together, right? And if you’re being honest, you’re starting to feel a little resentful. You’re always there for everyone else. But who’s showing up for you?

You’re exhausted. Burned out. Emotionally tapped out. You’re saying yes when you really want to say no, and taking on more than you have time for because you don’t want to disappoint anyone—or because you knows you can do it better than they can. And even when you finally have a minute to sit down, you feel guilty. You should be doing something. Being productive. Helping someone. Getting something done.

Rest doesn’t feel like rest when you feel guilty for doing it.

You know you need better boundaries, but actually setting them? That’s a whole different story. Saying no makes you uncomfortable. Disappointing people feels almost unbearable. And putting yourself first can feel downright selfish. Meanwhile, the anxiety and overwhelm are starting to affect the things that actually matter to you. You’re not showing up as the friend, partner, parent, or person you want to be.

And that’s frustrating because you worked hard to get here. So why doesn’t life feel as good as you thought it would?

That’s where I come in.

You Matter Too…

Somewhere along the way, you may have gotten really good at taking care of everyone else while putting yourself last. But it’s okay to want things for yourself. It’s okay to take care of yourself, make time for yourself, and build a life that isn’t just about meeting everyone else’s expectations.

If you’re tired of being so hard on yourself, constantly putting everyone else first, or feeling like you have to prove yourself, you don’t have to keep doing it this way. Together, we’ll work on letting go of the pressure, building confidence and self-trust, and creating more balance without losing the ambition that makes you who you are.
