Meet Angie!
Hi! I’m Angie. Angela if you’re looking for me on paper. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, in Texas.
As a coach’s wife, sports mom of a total of six, grandma and professional, I am someone who understands what it feels like to have a lot on your plate and still wonder if you’re doing enough.
I LOVE the color pink and probably have an unhealthy collection of pens. In my off time I enjoy run/walking, binging a good series, listening to audiobooks and eating good food. I’ve run 7 half marathons, and am working on getting back into the routine of being a “runner”.
I worked as a high school teacher and counselor for almost two decades. But, I definitely took the long way around to get there. As a teen mom, it took me 9 years to get my bachelors degree before taking several years off prior to returning to get my masters in Counseling. Perseverance and overcoming obstacles is part of my story. I wonder if it’s part of your story, too.
I help driven, high-achieving adults quiet the overthinking, ease the pressure they put on themselves, and build confidence and learn to take care of themselves without losing the ambition that makes them who they are.
I’ve spent years working with people who are motivated, hardworking, and used to figuring things out—but who sometimes need a place to slow down, get perspective, and stop carrying everything on their own.
My approach is genuine and humorous and built to get you back to balance.
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be completely yourself—without judgment and without having to have it all figured out. Even when you don’t have the words, we’ll sit together to try to sort through it all. You can learn to trust yourself, quiet the noise, and create a life that feels more balanced and less overwhelming.
